For EggBoil 1.0 · iOS and iPadOS 16 or later
Getting started
- Choose Runny, Jammy, or Hard.
- Open Settings to match the egg size, starting temperature, and cooking method.
- Start boiling when the egg goes into the water.
- Retrieve and cool the egg when EggBoil alerts you.
Improve the timing
After cooking, tell EggBoil whether the result was under, just right, or over. This feedback adjusts later sessions on this device. For best results, keep the pan, water amount, heat source, egg size, and starting temperature consistent while calibrating.
No completion alert?
- Open Settings → Notifications → EggBoil and allow notifications and sounds.
- Turn up alert volume and check that a Focus mode is not silencing alerts.
- Keep the system date and time set automatically.
Apple Watch
The optional Watch app mirrors the current cooking state through Apple’s paired-device connection. Keep Bluetooth and Wi-Fi enabled and open EggBoil on both devices once if the state does not refresh.
Cooking records and reset
Your settings, calibration, and calendar remain on your device. Deleting EggBoil removes its locally stored data.
