EggBoil is designed to work without an account and without collecting personal data.
Data collection
EggBoil does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data. The app does not include advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking SDKs.
Data stored on your device
The app stores your language, egg settings, timing calibration, cooking-session state, and egg-calendar records locally on your device using Apple system storage. This information is used only to provide the app’s features. You can remove locally stored EggBoil data by deleting the app.
Notifications
If you grant permission, EggBoil schedules a local notification on your device when cooking is expected to finish. EggBoil does not use a remote notification server.
Apple Watch
If you use the optional Apple Watch app, current cooking state and actions are exchanged directly between your paired Apple devices through Apple’s WatchConnectivity framework.
Sharing
EggBoil can generate a monthly summary image on your device. The image is shared only when you choose a destination in Apple’s system share sheet. The privacy practices of the selected destination apply after you choose to share.
Children
EggBoil does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version and effective date will be published at this URL.
